Mine went DOWN $60 for the 6-month premium versus my 2012 Acura TL AWD that I traded in for the C7.

I have Farmers Insurance

Let me tell you check out Geico or even Adam at the NCM. I had Allstate until I acquired the 13 Convertible. I had Allstate for YEARS and many Corvettes insured with them until April when I got the 2013 and they came up with such a RIDICULOUS perineum I almost fainted. Geico was LESS THAN HALF for the same coverage.

I don't have the numbers handy on my policy but I can tell you I like dealing with a person, with Gieco I was just a number. Somewhere around 40 years ago I forgot to mail a check and almost had my Geico policy canceled, if I was with Allstate the would have called me. I have had a lot of stuff going on over the past few years such as living in a camper in NY while I cleared out a house and sold it. My Allstate agent gave me a call to remind me to make a payment. That would never happen with Geico.

I'm just insuring my one 7-year-old Lexus right now for about $560/year. As far as I know, that is an excellent price, so I imagine adding a $60K sports car will make a non-negligible impact on that premium, but it would be awesome if I could add it for only $10/month!

Is that for comprehensive coverage?

I have the maximum coverage plus a one million dollar umbrella policy with a lot of extras, the only thing I did to save money was go with a $1,000 collision deductible, switching from a 2012 Volt to a 2014 Z-51 is only going to cost $55 extra. I thought that it was a great price

I just checked with Mercury to see what the cost difference would be coming from my 2009 Z06 to the C7 and was told $300 more per year.

Insurance is a scam, don't wreck the car, park it in a decent spot. Watch out for other drivers. I pay @500 per year through Geico, I also use USAA in another state. Both are reasonable. But I am also an old fart with a good driving record and good credit and no accidents. They check everything now.

demographic of mustang and Camaro owners is younger and higher risk profile. Corvette owners older less risk prone.

I had the same experience. My 6 month premium when from just over $600 to over $900. I'm now a happy USAA member!!
