and my friend's wife said it is really sparkly.... I corrected her to say "lots of metallic"
But none of that comes close to... In 1998 my mother-in-law was standing next to me when I brought my C5 home from the Museum. I was pointing out the finer features of this sleek, black machine when she asked, and I quote- "No back seat?" I replied, "No, it's a sports car" and she replied, exact words... "Pity, what a waste"

Am I the only one who wishes this was a classic midnight blue, non metallic?
I'm really trying to like this, as midnight blue is my dream color. Porsche does a really good midnight blue, and a few other makes...
I'm not a fan of the giant flecks and purplish-greyish hues in NRB.

All of these cars are gorgeous. Mine will be picked up at the museum on December 18th. Can't wait. NRB Vert with Brownstone interior with the suede insets. I'll post pics when I get my car.

I just put in my order at the dealer for my NRB Stingray.
I was waffling for two reasons: I don't want the car till we're closer to summer (have other things going on & don't need a new, expensive toy); I was really considering the Z06 or the 8spd.
But, I went for it. NPP, Mag Ride, yellow calipers, black wheels, transparent roof, auto.
My dealer doesn't have much allocation, so he said not to expect it until June or so. We'll see.
Went NRB to give my '13 Camaro a twin brother - gonna have twins!
Enjoying your pics while I wait....

Safety Car
The plant website only shows blackout dates thru the third. Since the plant, so far this model year, has run a shift on Saturday, a car built on 1/4/14 would qualify as in TPW 12/30.
I'm pretty sure the guy who assigns the TPWs is aware of when the plant is or isn't operating.

Good Pics... They look good... I like NRB more and more each time I see it.
I didn't think I would like the NRB color at first. In some of the darker pics from a distance the color looks close to Cyber Grey..... But in some of the pics with the paint in direct sunlight, the color looks nice and really makes the metallic look good.
