Default How many are using the Stingray as a daily driver or weekend toy?

I'm just curious how many people will drive it daily for the commute to work, run errands, etc during the week vs. just the weekend.

Daily for me from April through October... unless my wife "makes" me take the kids somewhere and I then have to drive my winter car

After 5000 miles I must say the base C7 is a truly great daily driver. For a weekend toy I'd wait for next year's supercharged model.

I don't drive it EVERY day. But it's not just for the weekends either. Barring wet weather, I drive it 4, maybe 5 days a week.

I am in Arizona so dont have to winter the car. My vettes have always been daily drivers. They drive me to work, get my groceries, carry dirt, plants, etc from Lowes/HomeDepot, etc. My vettes also have to get me to LA, San Diego, Las Vegas, and anywhere else that is less than eight hours drive away.

Having just gotten mine, I plan a little DD time in the summer months (I'm in NW Ohio). Mostly a weekend toy though.

Use the c6 as a daily driver so I would imagine the c7 will be even better....winter summer the corvette does it all..rain too and plowed snow storms too.

Always puts a smile on your face as a daily driver.

Go for it.

I don't plan to use my new vert as a DD however when the weather is good I will let her out. Normally we don't have harsh winters here in Texas so that is not a real factor for me however I do have a truck that is my primary vehicle. There is also a red C3 that only sees the sunshine. I do love my vettes and they just seem to shine better in the sun.

Default Warm weather climate in Atlanta.

8 weeks and 405 miles I guess it's weekend. Winter driving no problem and no snow or salt to contend with.

The C7 I have on order will be my 5th Corvette and will be like all the rest my daily driver. Everyone has their own view but it was designed to drive and that is the part that makes me the happiest. It doesn't hurt that they are also really great to look at

You should have seen the look on peeps faces when I loaded 4 2x4's in through the cargo hatch ............. Won't be able to do that though with the new vert. Guess I'll have to use the ski pass through in the Volvo.

I took NCM delivery 11/11 and drive it everyday, it's too much fun to leave garaged and I don't have that much time left! Carpe Diem!
