Question on floor mats.......
What do the regular floor mats have written on them? Stingray? or Corvette? or are they blank? I am only curious as I did not order the "premium ones" in case another aftermarket company I like better makes them. (Llyods mats), Anyways, just curious, please post a pic if you have one.

The "stingray" ones from GM are pretty cheap looking.....but they own the logo now until april...after that, many mfrs will supply a better mat...weathertech too in 2014, i hear...

To me, the mats, and the carpet in general, is the biggest disappointment with the car. I understand weight savings, but this stuff really looks cheap!

Weight was a major factor in every area of the C7. GM figures if you want custom mats you can buy them. My Lloyds mats are very nice and have held up 10 years now but they do weigh a lot more than the OEM mats. To me the nicer looking Lloyds mats are worth the extra weight but to many others not worth the extra weight.

it has nothing to do with weight to any degree...all mfrs supply a cheap mat so they can show on the std equip list it comes with mats...people look for that sort of thing. And being cheap, then they sell you a better mat thru parts and make out on both ends...SOP for mfr's for about the last 4-5 years...

The premium floor mats appear to me to be identical to the stock mats except for the logo. I wouldn't go so far as to say they look cheap, but they are definitely overpriced.
Plush carpets in cars look great but often don't wear well. Passengers and dirty/greasy cargo are the worst offenders. I wouldn't call the carpet in my Stingray plush in any sense, but it appears it's going to wear well. For a regularly driven car that's important to me. Time will tell.
