I did not do anything yet for the middle rocker area because I was not sure if that would be a vulnerable area.
That area seems to be sucked in & out of the way. Are you seeing damage?
We do sell a 6"x72" roll. http://store.cleartastic.com/clplfiinburo.html
That might help
Feel free to contact us to discuss your situation further if you like - Thanks

I am planning to remove the stock one, the shape is terrible and the line is super obvious, especially after it rained and now dirt is stuck along the border. I'm just not sure what the best way is to remove the adhesive.
Absolutely. We posted about it a few times. It was one of the first areas we were going to attack when we caught a few peaks of the car months ago.
it reminded me of the 97-04 "frt of rear wheel area" that we made a real nice "seam to seam" piece.
I would make a better piece with more coverage and a nicer look if people were willing to remove the factory piece. I'm just not sure anyone would bother.
However the other areas that we created coverage for are also very prone to rock chips & damage. - Thanks for posting

Why don't we wrap the I tire car in plastic. My C6 never had a chip of any kind, I personally can't stand the look of plastic. I have ordered the splash guards from GMpartshouse.com. Hopefully they will do a good job

I wish you (Cleartastic) would make it for this area. Go up to the body crease, and around the wheel well curve a little (remove the old piece). Please, please.

Well you must have never driven it... or at least got it over 20mph. Go onto any lot and look at used Vettes and not only is the paint chipped but the headlights and fog lights get damages as well. And obviously you haven't seen a car properly wrapped... if so you would even know its done.

Don, Here's the deal... To remove our film, you simply warm the surface and slowly peel it off. What's nice is there is no residue.
I don't know what GM had put on there so I'm not 100% sure what to do. Probably the same procedure. However call the dealer. Service must know.
Since there seems to be a lot of people not happy and willing to remove the GM piece, I'll make a piece for this area.
I guarantee it will look much better.
Let me check on a few things..

The C5 was horrendous for getting paint chips. The C7 is vulnerable too.
We already have people calling in & flipping out because they already have a mark or two.
If you feel these cars are not prone to chips, why are you buying mud guards? If you can't stand the look, of clear invisible film, then someone is doing something wrong..
