Default How Many Total for 2014?

My Torch Red Z51 Coupe completed production on Thursday this week. It is number 110182. Any guesses on how many C7s will be produced in the 2014 model year?

Started production mid September, in three months GM has produced 11/12 thousand, if current production rate continues, 35 thousand units OR MORE is possible.

Really?

The VIN is impossibly long. Drop the leading one. The relevant digits today, the last 5.

the actual number could be 110K, but not the number of 2014 Corvettes to come down the line. maybe we could include the 1G1Y, too.

as to total number for model year '14, I'd guess it will be up in the 20K range. I suppose the dealers will know first since people will/should start wandering into the showrooms for spring orders or sales of cars in stock beginning around Feb. 1.

If in fact these are the last six digits of your VIN, your car will be the 10182nd C7 produced.

Not necessarily, as there are duplicates in the last five characters in the VIN.

Regular C7's start with 00001 and the Premiere Editions also start with 00001, a do the captured fleet vehicles that start with a 00001 VIN.

Because there are other characters in the 17 character VIN, that are different, there is no duplication of the VIN, even when the last five characters are the same.

Is this a lottery? What is the prize for the correct guess? Mine is 38,920 total 2014 model cars.

Now we need to start speculating on how many unsold C7's there will be when the 2015's go into production.
