power up mode ??
If I power down in sport mode it powers up in sport mode.
If I power down in any other mode it powers up in tour mode.
What is the logic behind this ???

Looks like we are a little different . I drive mostly in tour mode but switch to sport every now and then . When I power down in S mode and then start up , the car goes back to T mode . I think this is the way it is programmed from the factory . I haven't looked into this yet but I would think there is a way to program the car to start up in any mode you want . I am going to look at the owners manual this weekend . I am finding out more and more every week . Just taking it slow . Good luck ....

I think they will refine these things in future years, and possibly provide flash upgrades.
An option I'd like to see is one to not change the HUD when the driving mode is changed. I switch from Sport to Touring and vice versa when I get within a couple of block of my house, and I have to manually change the HUD every time.

Men/we don't read.
That more than likely was the reason the Christopher Columbus thought he was in China when "he found America!" (Later named after "Amerigo Vespucci".)

I've read my manual 3 times and there are still things I'm not sure of. Also the manual is way off on something's. Example it says I can access the folders on a USB drive and shows the option in the manual. Will its not there. So some of us ask.

By the way, although Columbus hit "the Americas" as we might now say, he never even got close to the current United States.
How's that for some serious thread hijacking!? We now return you to the main thrust of the discussion.

I thought about this a little and kinda makes sense to me.
Sport Mode:
If power down at sport mode, then the car should power up in the same sport mode. Makes sense, because Sport mode is the style that the driver chose to drive his/her sports car. Example, if this Corvette is a weekend car for spirited driving...
Any other mode power down should result in Touring mode power up. Touring mode is default, and IMO safest setting. Here is how I see it.
Eco Mode:
Coming back home from long highway trip and power-off. Next drive should be in Touring mode until driver select other modes. One might not want to power up in Eco mode including AFM and Cylinder de-activation. Driving in city and while engine not fully warmed up does not need that.
Weather Mode:
Getting to destination in rain and power-off. On the next start, the rain prolly have stopped. Weather mode no longer needed.
Track Mode:
Done with the track day, and preparing to go back home. On the next start, one do not want to power up in Track mode.
I hope this make sense to you...
