Heated seats and climate control

Heated seats and climate control
Does anyone else's heated seats suck? I can fart warmer than my seats on the highest setting. These are the most pathetic heated seats ever. Calling my dealer tomorrow.
My climate control also sucks. It's 33 out and when I set the temp to 75, it was blowing cool air (and the car was warmed up)

Takes some 20 minutes or so to the point where I turn it off. My Volt and Silverado only take 10 minutes to get to the same point.
The ventilated seats do worth well tho!

I agree. Can't feel the heat worth a damn. My ATS is adequate, actually quite good. My GTO has an aftermarket setup with OE seat heaters and will set your *** on fire.

The more fat there is in your ***, the longer it takes heat to travel through it

Mine actually are great just like Nicky mentioned above. They work better than my Volvo SUV's for heat. I was impressed. Maybe it's part of a reflash? Are you up-to-date?

Melting Slicks
I only tried mine a couple of times before it went into storage, but yes, they seem to barely work in comparison to my other cars including my C6. That can't be how they're supposed to work-I'll need to see the dealer on that in the Spring...

I agree. They do not work well at all. Since I store my car over the winter, no big deal to me. BUT, my wife uses the heated seats year round, and they do NOT get very warm.

Are the heated seats air driven or heating element driven? We've got two Avalanches, both with the heating element and they warm up damn quick and quite warm, but my father's XLR is ducted air and does a pretty **** poor job of ever warming up. Someone we talked to said it was because the ducting has to run through such narrow passages that it's pretty useless at heat transfer.
