As a C7 buyer at 1100, waiting for my dealer to get a Z51 allocation since October, I can't help but wonder, given that it appears all the cars lined up for NCM delivery tonight are Z51's....maybe if I add the NCM delivery to my order, my order will be more likely to be accepted?

(just being facetious - seems funny that NCM delivery cars don't seem to have a problem with Z51 constraints)

Yes, I know....was just looking at the webcams and found it interesting that all the cars appear to be Z51 (not positive about one of them; a bit out of focus). My dealer swears he has allocations, but not for Z51's. I choose not to lower my requirements....

I believe the suppliers have ramped up production, and thus more Z51s are being built.

Been waiting since 11/8 at 1100... this next week is supposed to be the one. Otherwise I am walking. I ordered a 3LT-Z51 with all the bells and whistles...

I figure I'll give it until the last week in January...big plus will be if the Z51 constraint is lifted completely...

And I agree with you. You want what you want and nothing less. I remember back in 2000 I bought a Corvette that I did not really want and even as I was driving it home, that same day, I knew I had made a major error. I only kept the car for 4 months before they finally offered me enough to get into the Corvette I wanted without taking that bad a bath. Its your money so buy what you want, not what GM wants you to have ....

I placed my order(Z51 CF dash and roof) at the end of September and just got a TPW in late December. So, you should be close.

I think a lot of 1100s will start to move this month. I could be wrong though.

I have been at 1100 since 09.09 for my vert with Z51 and FAY, I hope that I see movement by the end of January. My personal target delivery is April, if it arrives in late June/July then a 2015 will be plan B.

You were right, 8/8 museum deliveries in queue are Z51 optioned!

The day we did our museum delivery ours was the only non-Z51 of the 8 on the floor.
