Default Extreme Performance Tires

This post concerns a category of Extreme-Performance-Summer-Tires.

Here is what I found in the category:

RE-11

245/40-18, 25.7" diameter, 8.5" wheel width, front, non Z51
245/35-19, 25.8" diameter, 8.5" wheel width, front
285/35-19, 26.9" +/- diameter, 10" wheel width, rear

265/35-18, 25.3" diameter, 9.5" wheel width, front, non Z51
275/35-18, 25.6" diameter, 9.5" wheel width, front, non Z51
275/30-19, 25.6" diameter, 9.5" wheel width, front
305/30-19, 26.3" diameter, 11" wheel width, rear
325/30-19, 26.7" diameter, 11.5" wheel width, rear

But the RE11 tire is in the process of being replaced by the RE11A tire

AD08 R

255/35-18, 25.0" diameter, 9" wheel width, front, non Z51
255/30-19, 25.2" diameter, 9" wheel width, front
295/30-19, 26.0" diameter, 10.5" wheel width, rear

265/35-18, 25.4" diameter, 9.5" wheel width, front, non Z51
265/30-19, 25.4" diameter, 9.5" wheel width, front
305/30-19, 26.2" diameter, 11" wheel width, rear

The AD08 tread widths tend to run wider than expected so check the actual tire specs. The thing to watch out for is the squarer tire shoulder. Also, they have an extremely stiff sidewall.

The OEM tire diameters based on the non-runflat summer tire sizes:

25.7", front, non Z51
25.8", front, Z51

26.9", rear, non Z51
26.8", rear, Z51

.

Default

The tire specs don't include sidewall height.

To estimate the sidewall height, divide the aspect series by 100 to arrive at the aspect ratio.

Then multiply the section width by the aspect ratio and divide by 25.4. That's the tire sidewall height in inches.

So for 305/30-19:

30 / 100 = 0.30
(305 x 0.30) / 25.4 = 3.6" sidewall height
.
