Is the C7 Z06 a Wide Booty Car??
So I did not spend a whole bunch of time studying the pics, but am wondering if the new Z06 is a wide-booty car?
Clearly, the back fenders are wider = wide booty
But,
I can't tell on the fronts? Is it by virtue of those black lips that extend from the front splitter on to the edges of the fenders that makes them "wider"??

I asked the same question, 'savewave' provided this link detailing dimensions between the C7s: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c7-g...-zo6-c7-r.html
~2.2" appears to be it.

I posted this over on the C6 forum, if there is difference I am really struggling to see it. Maybe someone has a better picture comparison. I guess that's a good thing for C7 owners.

The rear fenders are wider, but the front fenders have an attached black wheel opening molding. I'm thinking that the wide body front fenders and bumper cover were not done in time for the show, because GM said the car was still being developed. Here are the specs with the new width:

The front fenders on the reveal is what you would be getting , GM did a similar move on the new Z/28 using both front & rear fender flares to accommodate the wider tires/wheels

It's 2.x" wider in the front and 3.x" wider in the rear. I forget the exact number, but it's substantial. Can't wait to see one in person. I could never buy a non-wide body vette. I love my cars to look as aggressive as possible.
