Cyber Gray and Velocity Yellow Ending in 2014, New Gray and Yellow for 2015
We learned today at the North American International Auto Show that two popular colors on the 2014 Corvette will be changed.
The colors ending are Cyber Gray and Velocity Yellow. They will be replaced by a new Gray and a new Yellow.
Here is the new Gray, tentatively referred to as "Shark Gray" or "Tiger Shark Gray" on the 2015 Z06. It is parked next to a 2014 Cyber Gray Corvette Stingray.
The new Yellow can be seen later this month on the actual C7.Rs at Daytona.

I've always liked the CG, but that new shade looks pretty good. As with any color you need to see it in person though.
Silver for me is too light, and this might be a good compromise in between the two.
Interesting wheels too.

Seems like that should replace the silver. Are we going to have both the light gray and silver? Hard to tell a difference until you see them together.

I loved my 2002 Pewter Metallic; I got a lot of compliments on it.
The new gray seems to be more like the Pewter Metallic (lighter).
If that color is truly available for the 2015, then that's what I'm getting.

I think it's an awesome color but agree with some on here it's got to be seen outdoors in order to get the full effect of the color.

So, the Yellow that was shown for the Z06 Introduction was not the Yellow that will be around for the 2015 Corvette. Or was the Yellow that was shown yesterday the new Yellow?

The new yellow should be interesting...never did care for Velocity Yellow but always liked the pale yellow on the C2. Hope they bring that one back...

It is very confusing with the velocity yellow color changing since they showed it for the unveiling on the 2015 Z06. So unless that was the new color and it is slightly different and can only tell if they are side by side. Anyone have any more info on the Velocity Yellow color changing?

Well, I just read the article and answered my own question. Not sure how the new Velocity Yellow can get any brighter but apparently it will be. Definitely looking forward to seeing this color at the Daytona race.
