This Viper owner decided to put "C7" on his Viper....

Looks real enough. Texas has dozens of plate combinations available so it could be possible. But, who knows.

It's real. Whitehead Motorsports in Tomball, TX, owns it. Check their facebook page and/or website.

Probably one of those "nervous laughs".

Apples and Oranges. Viper Production is very limited and the chances of getting one for the $100,000 BASE PRICE are somewhere between slim and none.
The C7 is the best Performance Car for the money. Buy a Base Z51, bolt on an E Force Supercharger, and you will still have $35,000 in your pocket when you zip past the Viper on the Track. He might get you on a closed Airport Runway running over 200 MPH, but that only happens on episodes of Top Gear.
Besides, I can afford my C7, but I can't afford a Viper.

I think it's odd that they chose to feature the license plate so prominently on the Viper. Of course, it has to be centered, but it seems really high on the Viper.

I'd buy a Viper, but I don't have a pit to hiss in.
Seriously, every SRT dealer in LA has one just like that languishing in
the showroom. I've seen adverstised $12k discount in local papers.
If sales are any indication, C7 has already had the last laugh.

I haven't driven the latest Viper model but I have driven an earlier model and it is far more raw than a Corvette. The Viper is without doubt an excellent track car, but it sure as hell wouldn't be something that I would drive as a DD. I drove one last summer and my back was stiff after about a 30 minute ride, and I burnt my leg on the exhaust pipe getting while out of the car. The burn was my fault since the Viper's owner warned me about the hot exhaust pipe, but I forgot.

Have no desire to put anything about the Viper on my car. It is a great ride, but I have no desire to own one. Besides, I couldn't afford one nor could I keep up with it performance wise.

It's too bad .... It looks like it is expensive to build. A lot of nice bits.
And, gorgeous paint work. But, the chassis layout is nowhere near as good as the C7.

For me, I think its funny. I love funny competition but I would rather have a c7 than a viper especially with a super charger on it. Just need another 33,000 miles before I buy it.
