SD Card max size
Ok, I have read the owners manual. I have also read the infotainment manual. Page 25 is about the SD card and it refers you back to page 21.
So the question I would like answered is the manual says you can use a SD card. By name a SD card is up to 2 gig.
It says nothing about a SDHC can be 2-32 gig.
The manual does say you can use FAT32, which is what the SDHC card uses.
So, how big a card with the system read in the 14 Stingray? Will it read the SDHC card at 32 gig, or 16 gig?
Thanks

Thank you, good to know.
Thank you for the link to the information. Exactly what I wanted to know. Plan to get a 32 gig to leave in car all the time.
‐ Applicable audio extensions are mp3, wma, aac, m4a, and aif.
‐ WMA and Apple lossless files are not supported.
All my music was loaded to my mac as Apple Lossless. Learned tonight that Apple lossless is also a m4a extension like acc, and are both stored in a MP4 container, but use a different audio coding.
Looks like I will have to convert some of it to acc
Max SD card capacity was answered in another thread. It only supports SDHC, which means a maximum of 32GB. Don't waste extra money on a higher capacity SDXC card.

Make sure you get a class 10 card. More music means it'll take longer for the system to index the files.
