Colors and brightness are governed by Federal law. While I doubt that you would get stopped solely because of smoked, you could be looking at a secondary ticket. A major auto company had a recall a year or two ago because of some lights on the car (don't remember which lights or what company) were too bright.

I would be in (depending on price of course!) for the LEDs with tinted covers. I like the idea.

This is a great idea. They look good and I always thought the originals were too big for the little light they put out.

I have a white one coming in so I will want some clear sides front/rear and smoked/blacked for the back bumper.

This is the vinyl RPIdesigns strips - they do a great job of killing the color but allowing the actual light to still be effective, wax able and polish ok too
