Is it me or does the painted roof look amazing on the C7, I have always had transparent roofs on my vets - it was a must, but not anymore.

We have the dual roof package and really think the painted carbon fiber roof is better eye candy. When we order our next one it will not have the package although if the roof doesn't change we will probably keep the acrylic one as well. So far it does not seem worth the extra cost. BTW, the we think the car looks best with the top out, but this winter has only allowed a couple of days for that. The C7 is quite a car and offers a lot for your dollars.

I felt the same way which is why I went with the standard painted one on my torch red. On the darker colors I like the transparent or the CF/painted version but feel it breaks the design up too much on others. Everyone has opinions-it's good we have choices.

I have always liked the painted top better on all Corvette Coupes since the C4's

I think I'll' probably get both the color and clear top on the Z just to ensure I have no regrets. Y'all guys are all referring to the exterior looks and neglecting the awesome airy interior with the transparent.

I wrestled over cf roof n black rims and body color top and chrome rims and finally chose chrome rims and body color top. Dirt and chips finally decided me against black rims and didn't want to spring for $2k more for cf top. That said I will say part of my decision was based on looks - the body color roof does look downright amazing, especially on torch red!

I ordered just the painted roof....I have had translucent with the last 4 but I prefer the body color roof with the C7 design. I'm glad they offer three versions....makes more people happy!

Your car is my car, exactly. Good choice! I prefer the painted roof as it continues the lines of the car much better than the transparent top. (Cheaper too!).
