Joe appears a genuine car guy, if anyone on the Republican side shows us a Youtube clip one of his guys/gals' genuine affinity to muscle car, I will call him/her a genuine car person and appreciate that fact.
As far as CAFE, let's face it, a Republican administration will have to institute similar standards, it's just a matter of time.
Those of us who are naturally aspirated will eventually fade away, and the next generations have grown up force inducted, but even they will eventually be replaced by their mindless, sorry, driverless offsprings.

Obviously you are a Plugs supporter, which is fine you can support whomever you want.
To me it's disingenuous to constantly talk about how much you love muscle cars when your policies are making it more and more difficult to produce those cars, and may in fact one day render them extinct.

I think GM has figured out how to produce a 460hp car that gets 26mpg and better. They just need to figure out how to get the old farts to stop buying the Corvette. The stereotype that follows this car is a problem for GM. Not sure the younger generation will purchase this car in large enough numbers for it's survival.
I noticed you were selling (sold) yours already--why??

Sold it for couple of reasons and thanks to the GM card and trade in I lost about $1k mostly taxes , if I held on to it for another year might have lost $10k. The car is hot so had no trouble selling it but in one year not so sure. The design did not grow on me as I though it would. I got the car in oct and @ that time there were none in the show rooms. I did not see one in person before I bought it.That's all I want to say and let's leave it @ that. I had no problems with the car none. It truly is a great car.

Flooding, screw'em. Don't move so close to the water. Tornados, dig a little deeper. Plus, your wife will like getting a new house every few years. Droughts? Massive storm system? It might not be climate change. Climate change is just a theory, you know, like gravity. Its probably not even true. Any day now things might start falling up. They can't prove it won't happen.
