Default Corvette vs Best of British (Aston Martin and Jaguar)

Check out the new Stingray on a twisty stretch of tarmac taking on the new Aston Martin V12 Vantage and Jaguar F-Type V8 S.

Racing driver Anthony Reid at the wheel, in the wet, with all electronic aids switched off...

There's only one winner!

Not for nothing but the Corvette is a bit more optimized for performance than the Aston. The Aston has other things going for it.

Ideally, I would want both a Stingray Z51 Coupe in the garage and an Aston DBS Convertible in the garage (and a McLaren 12C, while I'm wishing). Unfortunately I can only manage one at a time.

Wow!! It would be difficult to let it all hang out on that track with BIG trees to wrap around and a heard of sheep to plow into. Only in England. But OH how that Corvette did kick a$$ !!

I am surprised how far off the pace the Jaguar F-Type was.

You can't compare a blue collar car to Jags and Aston's.
There is prestige that a vette does not have.

Your continued bitter outlook on the C7 is stale.

He was not comparing prestige to blue collar. He drove three great cars and had some fun on a great road. The 'vette had the quickest time, the Aston was a tad slower, and the Jag was a little slower. Nothing more; nothing less.

I traded a 2011 Aston Martin Vantage v8 Roadster for a new Stingray.

No offense bro but I just dropped nearly 70K on a car...that's hardly blue collar. Not only did the corvette kick those cars asses, it looks just as nice as the other cars. Now Im proud to own an American car

Only thing cooler than that is when 'ole Junior Johnson took his '63 409 over there a few years ago and ran it in the festival...

Pretty cool Video, not sure about the comment above about the Vette looking as good as an Aston, but you can not argue the performance!!!!
