Default 3LT Kalahari Question

I love the look of the dash with the 3LT wrap with the Kalahari interior which I have on order. The question I have is, does the light colored dash create and glare or is it distracting on a sunny day?

Thanks

Have no issue with glare. Perhaps the small amount of black leather along the windshield is a help. However the wife's Cayenne has similar color leather over the whole dash, no black, and never have a glare problem. Now that I think about it, I drive her SUV mostly when it's raining or there is a threat of rain - wouldn't want to get the Vette wet!

I have the 3LT Kalahari and have no problem with glare. There have been threads regarding this. And as you would expect some say there is glare. Strong sun will produce some reflection on any color.

No trouble with glare but there is a faint reflection on either side of the HUD that could be annoying if you let it.

You do realize that your Vette was doused with 2400 gallons of water under pressure right before it rolled out of the plant, right? Every one must pass the leak test before it leaves the factory.

There is glare all of the time and quite a bit some times. Having said that, you learn to deal with it and totally overlook it sometimes. Kalahari is assume you'll love it. It is the best looking interior of any color available. IMO!

On some interior colors the passenger side is split with black and then the chosen color. The dividing line is where the airbag/ thread line is. Does anyone know why Kalahari for 3LT covers almost the entire dash and doesn't follow the same convention as others, for example the red interior?

Does that mean that every Corvette is totaled before it even leaves the factory? Don't Corvettes melt in the rain?

Brownstone and Kalahari are that way. Torch Red and Gray have only the accents around the dash. The grey is so light it may glare too much. And that much red would be overpowering. Just my thoughts, not official...

Its one of the main reasons I wouldn't get 3LT with kalahari. Its too much. At that point, the black becomes the accent to the Kalahari. I wish they would have kept the same convention as the red.
