Expel Question
I didn't know I could have had Expel installed before Museum Delivery. Any advice what parts of the car I should have it installed on and what should I expect to pay . Thanks in advance.

I would recommend nose, full hood, full front fenders, full rockers, mirrors and door pull recesses The nose and rockers are obvious. Half hood does not make much sense because the hood is so low that a stone can hit anywhere on it, not just the front half. The full front fenders might not be so obvious, but there is a significant portion of the front fenders that are "horizontal" surfaces. To protect them, you really need to do the full fenders or you would have an edge that would be obvious. Mirrors and door pull recesses are so cheap, why not?
Prices can vary depending on the shop you use as a considerable amount of the total is the cost of labor. Be sure you specify Xpel Ultimate.

what he said and......
the dealer also did forward of the rear wells and I did rear of the front wheel wells myself....probably going to do the rockers as well as the door flare down.

These clear wraps...how long before they yellow in the sun if you are using the car as daily driver? Do they get dirt on the edges like the screen protectors you put on phones? Can you wax them (or have any way of taking care of them) to help protect them from the sun?
I just had my 1980 repainted and was considering this.

Is this film invisible, or like the protection applied at the factory in front of the lower rear wheel well? I cannot imagine the total area of the hood covered. The edges, I would think would show? Is the fix (protection) a trade off on the problem (stone chips). A chip can be repaired - virtually invisible. The protection - virtually invisible. Guess it comes down to peace of mind.
