Default Stainless Plenum & FRC Dress Up Kit from PFYC-PartsForYourCar

Great new products for your C7 Corvette Stingray at PFYC

Hi everyone, we just wanted to let you know that we're hard at work adding great new products for your C7 Corvette Stingray. I'll announce a few of the more popular ones in separate threads here.

Below we have a stainless steel brushed/polished plenum and valve cover dress up kit meant to go over the factory covers for a more show-quality underhood appearance.

----------------

Stainless Plenum and Valve Cover Dress Up Kit for C7 Corvette Stingray

----------------

Dress up your C7 Corvette Stingray's engine bay with our high quality stainless steel dress up kit. Choose from plenum covers, fuel rail covers, or the full kit. This kit is made entirely of stainless steel and will never rust, tarnish, or fade. The plenum cover "fingers" alternate between polished and brushed finishes for a unique and interesting look. All 11 pieces (two fuel rail covers and 9 plenum accents) are designed to attach to the factory plastic fuel rail covers. Check out the photos above to see.

Interesting. How do they attach? Are they just for show or are they permanently installed?

Double sided adhesive, but you could remove them in the future for resale or stuff like that.

Mardis, just to clarify, they come highly polished almost like chrome. You want chrome plated on top?

Yes on the Triple Chrome Plate......Destined for the car show circuit.

I don't want to dis stainless, but it's my experience that it scratches pretty easy. Chrome, windex and a microfiber and your done.

Highly interested.

I'm working on this for you.

It's a lot more common than you think. How else would you install such pieces on the factory plastic engine covers (note, these aren't touching the engine, but only plastic engine parts) that allow installation without any changes or drilling at all? The only answer I know of is double-sided adhesive.

This isn't just sticky tape from Home Depot - this is automotive grade stuff that uses an adhesive promoter pack and requires careful cleaning to adhere correctly. They stick VERY well and there is no reason to use hardware in this situation.

They are unable to do chrome. Sorry about that. I really was hoping to get it done for you. Perhaps you can get them done locally?

No sweat.

I passed through NO on my motorcycle last year on the way to TX for a motorcycle race. Fun times!
