Default Top Corvette dealers ... List, in order, available?

I am sure this has been addressed before, but I know that in order to get a custom order done timely you need to use a big Vette seller with a big allocation.

Seems like we hear over and over about a few, and Kerbeck states a zillion times over that they're #1. Is there actually a list that anyone has that lists the top twenty or something by volume or allocation? How many of the 900 that get at least one are ones that have a big enough allocation to get an order done pretty quick?

Some of you must know this answer, so I'm not going to go digging around in the allocation wars threads and just ask for a cut and dry list.

Thanks in advance!

Suzy

Good list. And not that makes a real difference, but MacMulkin is now #1 YTD for 2014.

At least according to their site:

At least according to their site:

"Largest" could have many different meanings, not necessarily the most sales since 1/1/14.

It could mean they have the biggest showroom for all we know.

interesting for 2012, only 9 dealers sold 100 or more Corvettes; and 28 sold more than 50.

No, in January they out sold us by units when you count the twenty something 2013 leftovers they blew out. Remember, our allocation is 1,277 for 2014.

I don't have it, but someone should get the 2013 list since it's more accurate.

My C7 was 1st C7 delivered by MacMulkin 9/27/13, his indoor showroom is larger than Kerbeck, plus he keeps all his vettes indoors.

Thanks for the link! It is quite helpful.

How about this part of my question:
"How many of the 900 that get at least one are ones that have a big enough allocation to get an order done pretty quick?"

So, would a dealer that is 40th on the list or something like that still get enough allocation that I could 'time' an order pretty well without it sitting in that state of limbo a long time before it gets 'picked up' to be manufactured?

Or you have to do the top 10 to get the timing right?

My problem is we have a 6-week window where we need to travel to do the Buyer's Tour, so we need to be ordering with some kind of timing certainty and not guessing.

Thanks,

Suzy

Honestly, the only way to guarantee something that close is going to depend on how the car is equipped. If it's a touring coupe there's quite a few dealers who could do it. If it's a Z51 coupe then, honestly it's probably just us and maybe Macmulkin but I can't speak for them.

Is it a Z51 coupe?

<sigh> I never knew this would be so complicated!

Yes, it is a Z51, but it will be a 2015 and the six weeks are the last two weeks of October and all of November, 2014. Not like it is right now with the 2014's constrained.

But, yes, tell me how life goes once a model hits its second year and the orders aren't so crazy heavy. (I was thinking the Z06 would take the pressure off the Z51s by then.)

Cheers,
Suzy

Nice link. Just my luck....the closest dealer to me (~5 miles) is the last one on the list.

I'll be ordering from a forum dealer so it doesn't matter anyhow but its kind of sad....

Well they (Champion) are AutoNation now and a joke.

Stick with your forum dealer, pay NO doc fees, get a few grand off, and cut their bad attitude

Hendrick collectively is #2, but each of its member dealers gets is own allocations and preferences, so for GM's purposes, each is a stand alone operation, which means for ordering priority, their biggest is Rick Hendrick in GA at #6.
