I heard it was to build the new 5.3 engined Vette Lites. Thats why they increased the price of the C7 to make the new lower priced Lite model look like more of a bargain.
I hear it will have no AC and roll up windows as well.

I am scheduled for 7:30 20 march 2014.....talked to Shane today....I can take the plant tour at a later date. Will not effect making corrections if car is not up to standard. Who else will be there on the 20th of March....hope the weather is nice....see you there!!!!! The wait is almost over!!!!!

Heard from Shane also. I'm really bummed, been planning this trip with my son-in-law for months since ordering the car.
I'll still take delivery on the 18th but will miss the factory tour. I can't put off picking up the car any longer.

Not sure exactly what is going on behind closed doors but my message from the Museum stated "During the week of March 17th, future product is scheduled to be on-line at the Plant. This is product that has not been introduced to the public yet. With this being said, GM has suspended all tours of the Bowling Green facility." Z06, 2015 etc. ??
So something is up!!
