Emergency Exit
Folks,
Please teach your spouse/partner/friend/child/passenger the location of emergency door latch release levers. Both on the driver and passenger sides. Thanks.

No, no, no... Those videos of people "trapped" inside their cars are good for web traffic! This information must remain secret, carefully hidden inside the owner's manual for all time!

I agree 120%. The only way out in an accident could be the emergency exit levers. Now add a fire and you can visualize the importance. Hope no one ever needs the levers in a real emergency. A funny; I accidentally locked my self in my C6 cleaning inside windows. Laid fob on floor and closed the passenger door. Car couldn't receive fob and effectly locked me inside. Well I grabbed the release handle and yanked, well almost pulled the handle from the floor. You only need a light pull, surprise! Another learning experience.

Good reminder, I actually asked my salesman what happens if the battery dies and he said the door would open anyway. He forgot to mention it would only open if you knew where the manual release was located.

Latch on the floor? Read the MANUAL? pffft. Real men just keep an automatic center punch in the Easy-Bake. http://kwc.org/mythbusters/2007/01/e...r_car_and.html
