C7 components, lead time
Anyone venture a guess, how far in advance of final assembly, are the engine, drive train, etc. produced? Guessing the vehicles that will be produced in March have most of the parts already produced, currently in the logistics process.

A few hours for some components...just in time sequence delivery

We know the frame is built in house. There must be a steady stream of engines enroute daily. Think about all the parts, monumental process. The actual assembly of the car is the easy part.
