Default How long in distribution center?

It's been 3 weeks and my car has finally reached the distribution center in Mira Loma, CA. How long is it usually there until it gets trucked out to the dealer? My dealer is 30 min away from Mira Loma.

Thanks
- Ron

It took 5 days from when the rail car carrying my C7 arrived at its destination rail head until it was taken to the dealership 60 miles away

My Cadillac stayed in Mira Loma less than a day, it was delivered to the dealer at 4:00 AM the morning. When I took delivery of my C5 in 2000 the cars where railed into San Diego and it stayed at the rail head for 3 days before being trucked to the dealer.

My car took 1.5 days to unload off the rail car, and another 2 days to get put on a truck to drive 20.9 miles to the dealer.

Is your status currently "unloaded" or waiting to unload?

I thought all C5's were delivered by truck straight from Bowling Green.

It is at 4800-Rail Ramp Unload. I'm really really looking forward to taking delivery this weekend. what are my chances?

I say very good. You should ask your dealer about his PDI backlog though. My dealer needed a full day to complete the PDI since they received 8 C7s when they got mine..

The dealer can answer this question with 100% certainty (and he will tell you it is coming by truck, which you can believe him this time).

Should sit no more than 48 hours at yard and should take no more than a day at his/her place if they prioritize you.

Mine sat 4 days at the Selkirk, NY railhead before it made its way to MacMulkin this morning. Typical can be 2-5 days, but I was told it could be as much as 10 days for Selkirk. The OP's railhead maybe faster?

He said there is just one other stingray coming in with mine. Hopefully I will get it by this weekend.

Very cool. Hopefully you'll be on the road this weekend having a blast in the car.

My car took nearly 2 weeks from shipping out to arrival at MacMulkin. During that time I had no clue where it was and it did make me a bit nervous. But I got her home safely on 3/8.
