Lucked into a new Premier Edition Coupe this weekend! [PICS]
So I was on the waiting list to order a Z51 coupe with Criswell. I had just moved up to spot #16 and was looking at another 4 weeks or so before my order went in and until the end of June for delivery. I had been keeping an eye out on local dealerships inventory to see if anything suited me, but there was slim pickings everywhere. While perusing posts in this forum, I learned of a car inventory search website (cargurus.com) that would streamline the inventory search process. Using this website, I found a premier edition at a dealership only 60 miles from me
Excited, I called the dealership to confirm that it was still available and asked a few questions like what the mileage was and if it had been used for any test drives. Only 13 miles and no test drives. I told them I'd secure financing and would be on the way up there shortly after I went out for lunch and picked up my draft from the bank.
The MSRP that was listed on the cargurus website was $74,760. That was the price I thought I was purchasing at when I requested financing. Well, after I picked up my bank draft I and was having my lunch....I looked at the car via the actual dealership's website and saw that they had it listed at $79,760.
So, I drove up to the dealership and briefly talk to the salesman as we are heading to look at the car. Window sticker price clearly says $74,760, but there is a hand written note taped underneath saying +$5000 market value adjustment. I indicated that I wasn't going to pay $5000 over MSRP and told him that the price I came up there for was what I saw on the cargurus website. He said that the sticker was pre-price adjustment and said he'd talk to the manager to see what he could do. As he was doing this, I was "build & pricing" on my phone to see what the actual cost should be and with all of the things that are included....it appeared I was wrong....I was coming up with a build MSRP price of $80,020. I was fully expecting and ready to pay for their adjusted price at that time and waited for the salesman to return. When he did...he had great news. They gave it to me at the window sticker price of $74,760. Deal done and I am one happy camper!!
Here are a few of the pictures, but I also have an album with many more pics here: http://imgur.com/a/4TkGS
My first regret with this car is forgetting to remove the front plate before taking these photos. Ha!

Looks good!
I'd be interested to see a pic of the Monroney sticker. Wondering if they adjusted the price due to substituting the exposed carbon roof that was constrained with the clear roof. Based on your MSRP quote it seems like they didn't make the adjustment.
Nevermind, they did deduct the extra $1,000 for swtiching the top. The MSRP of the car before the constraint was $75,760.
I hope you have as much fun driving yours as I've been having with mine. These cars are great and I love it much more than I did my C6 Grand Sport.

perhaps some of the difference is in the wheel package. If someone were to order with these wheels it is a $4,440 option. However, based on the wording on the website it seems as if one were to order this option....they would get two sets of wheels. Obviously, I didn't get that. So, it appears that the premier edition simply substitutes the wheels...which isn't an option on a regular order. Even though....they must be similar in price to the split-spoke chrome wheels. That would make the MSRP closer to $77,500. I wonder why it's listed as lower?

Yes....I was wondering how they came up with the price for the Premier Edition package. If someone were to build the exact car and ordered all of the same options, it would cost over $80k and it wouldn't even be a premier edition. Why is the MSRP so low for the premier edition I wonder?

Yeah, I realize that now. So basically, I paid around $3000 less than MSRP if I were to have built this car now. And it's a Premier Edition to boot. Even a sweeter deal. Nice!

If you are talking about using the aero panel for your front plate, there is no drilling required. You use the supplied anchors to attach to the front grill. The holes for the plate don't need to be drilled. Just punch a small hole in the dimple and add your screw.

I think all the Premier Edition LB C7 Coupes (1-500) were built long before the 3/3 price increases. Don't know about the similar verts series.
So which one did you get (1-500)? Lucky you!
I just love that color. Look <<<<<.
