It's evident of all the [dark] colors regarding the rear that it's the most accepting of the lower panel color where the contrast is nonexistent. Very nice.
Black on this body style has sinister connotations; on a Z06 skin … absolutely menacing. Enjoy the miles.

I am considering using that stuff on my hood.
The car I ordered had a stripe on the hood, but I am winding up with one from dealers stock with carbon fiber mirrors and spoiler, I think a C/F stripe in the center of the hood will look nice on a sipver car.
PS I am glad your paint job is OK my salesman said that they had the most problems with orange peal and white and silver have the least problems
