I've seen on many different threads pictures of C7's with emblems (Fish, Braces, flags and the CORVETTE on the rear) either blacked out or darkened. I have a Cyber Grey C7 I would like to do it to, but on yellow and white I think it looks really sharp.

How about anyone that has done this telling us how.

You can either buy a replacement emblem from a vendor here (lots and lots of options) or use plasti dip to either smoke or black out the emblem.

I purchased emblems from RPI and Pete@Showstopper for the Corvette symbols and Stingrays. I used Plasti dip on the grille.

I used plasti dip on my cyber gray c6 gs. Been on there around a year and have only had to repaint front emblem. Car looks sharp blacked out

I have a Cyber Grey C7 both emblems from and rear are "smoked" with plasti dip as is my rear "Corvette" lettering. How do you do it...thousands of videos on you tube,,how does it look ?What if I screw it up? the beauty of PD is you can do it over as many times as you want...have fun see pic below
