Whats the last date orders can be placed for 2014 C=7 Z-51 ? Do you think its worth waiting for the 2015 ? What chances will there be another price increase on the 2015 models......Thanks for the input

Depends on how impatient you are. If you are getting a Automatic then I personally would wait. I'd guess there would be a $500-800 price bump for 2015, just pure guess though.

this probably doesn't apply to you because this is in Canada but I guy I kinda know (just from in here) placed an order last week for a 2014 Z51, everything thing seemed okay until he got a phone call today from the dealership (same place where I bought mine) saying that they couldn't get the allocation for a 2014 Z51 so he got bumped to the front of the line for a 2015 at the 2014 price. That would be all well and good if he didn't have to wait until next December for delivery, smack dab in the middle of the winter season up here (although I took delivery of mine December 20th and that didn't stop me from driving it). So who knows if there's even allocation at the dealership that you order from.

from what my (likely) dealer has told me, last order date is June 6th... assuming they still have allocation available

Why December and not September? Because of being in Canada?

You are right on that being a guess - there was a $2,000 ($3,200 on Z51) mid-year increase on March 3, so I would expect the 2015's to go up about the same amount - I can't see a price increase of less than $1,500.

I must be out of the loop, does Chevy maintain a practice of raising the price ~$2,000 every model year? Is this a joke?
So you think that the 2015 Z51 will be around $5,000 more than when the 2014 debuted?

I'd wait for a 2015 at this point in time.

No, I don't think so but that's just a guess. $2000 is too steep for a price increase every year. If that were the case with midyear increases a base C7 would be 70k in 4 years!
