Tiger shark gray - other names
Is Tiger Shark Gray a totally new color for GM or has it been used on any other year/model GM product. I will be ordering a 2015 as soon as orders can be placed and would like to preview the color on any other GM product prior to this.
thanks in advance

Tiger Shark Gray is brand new to our 2015 line. Let me know if you have any other questions or if you need assistance finding the perfect fit! Have a great day.

GM has a history of abandoning popular colors in favor of more obtuse versions. How can we forget dumping Torch Red for Precision Red?
It is all part of their hire the handicapped program. They solicit color blind people for the paint department to make sure that they have few exterior colors that actually flatter their interior offerings.
Don't bet on Tiger Shark Gray being an entirely new color until you see it yourself. Often "new" GM colors are frequently just paint chip rebadging.

It's funny seeing people give comments about something they know little about.
If GM syays its a new color then until someone proves them wrong its new.
If you like Cyber Gray buy it now or your SOL.
I was in love with Cyber Gray until I saw the TSG and know my 2015 will have a new color a A8 and a PDR...I'm ok with that.

If I get a 2015, I'm more than likely going with DSOM, A8.

Saw the TSG at the NY Auto show on the Z06.
It is a nice color - and I think it will pull a lot of sales away from Blade Silver.
It would have been really cool if in place of CG, they added TSG and a very dark metallic grey (a few shades lighter than carbon flash metallic).

Saw the tiger shark grey at the NY car show today and I liked it a lot. Would like to see both colors side by side for comparison.

I like - it's a bit darker than Blade silver & little lighter than Cyber.

GM (Corvette, Chevy, Caddy, etc.) marketing decides what to "name" a certain color. Just because they call it "new" doesn't mean someone else isn't using it under a different name. They buy the paint from third-party suppliers - used to be PPG, but I don't know who at this point. It may be "new" to Corvette, but that doesn't mean you won't see the same "WA" paint-code on a Mustang.
