Default Radio weak reception

My radio has such weak reception I cannot bring in stations that my c6 did. You almost have to be in the same town as the station to hear it; and it seems to be getting worse. Anyone know how to fix this or had the same problem?

I have the same problem. I solved it by just listening to Pandora

AM? FM? VIN?

Actually, I was rather impressed how much better AM reception is than it was in my C6

I have noticed weaker FM reception as compared to my DD (2010 GMC Sierra with factory Bose Stereo).

XM is good for me. There is only one AM station that I rarely listen to so I can't really assess that.

vin = 13200

I agree the reception is not as good. My favorite station goes in and out of HD until I get into the city. I can live with it...

True, but what about all of the inane jabber between songs? It's very annoying and seems to be getting worse.

Not on certain channels, like 5,7. I admit 6 and 8 are bad.

I listen to XM Patriot all the time but there are some local AM shows not available (yet?).

When I'm not listening to my SD card that is

Cousin Bruce is a self centered jerk. I do enjoy listening to Phlash Phelps on 6 in the early morning.....up to a point.

Turn HD off. It makes a world of difference.
