6 things that make modding easier

Melting Slicks
Girot’s Garage has a detergent they say is specifically intended for washing microfiber towels. I use it. Towels do come out looking and feeling nice. Can’t say scientifically if it is better than other cleaning options. Don

I think the numba 1 most important tool to have for modding is KNOWLEDGE
It's too easy to post on here asking for knowledge, most is good, some are just generic, but you should also use a search engine called Google or any of the other search engines to gain info, not just here.
I would also suggest you invest in a set of shop manuals if you plan on doing extensive mods.
Create a folder on your computer and put info gleaned from here and elsewhere. I keep production stats, parts diagrams, pics that people post when they do things like pulling the rear bumper cover, replacing fuel pumps, shock and sway bar comparisons etc.

I would agree with this 1000%......it amazes me how many people here will ask how to do,something and the answer is missing basic knowledge of tools, chemicals or skills.
PLEASE make google and YOUTUBE your friend, I'll give you an example:
Last year I wanted to learn to paint small parts, engine plenums, interior parts etc. I had never done it. I went to you tube and watched maybe 20 vids, about 10 of them were crap. But there were about 4 that were really good and talked about how NOT to do it. Same with using a polisher, sanding, etc etc.
And GOOGLE because what you are asking, has been asked before on at least 5 other forums!!!
LOL....and watch Ed on Wheeler Dealers, pretty amazing guy......

Use common sense, i would do all 3...50/50, pure alk Pads above, acetone wipe....tape connection has got to be super clean, pull the tape as you go, not all at once...
