Would love to see pics of these mounted in the cars once the buyers have received them. They look very cool.

Here is a pic of my finished install. Looks and feels great! Neat product. It was an easy install, after I got the chrome ring off! Here a PDF of the install with hints on removing the chrome shift boot trim ring:

Just a note anyone with a MGW shifter might have issues putting these on. Seems the MGW shifter has a piece of rubber around the shaft that is slightly to large for this to fit over. i'm still trying to figure a way to get this on my shifter.

So far there is no way to put this **** on the MGW shifter , even if i remove the rubber the shaft part thats below it is too large for the **** to go over it to meet up with were you screw it down.

Although i did try it out on the OEM shifter i had sitting in a box and it seem to work nice.

We spoke to george at MGW and for some reason they redesigned the C7 shaft and have been having issues with both the stock c7 **** and our *****. George was in the process of redesigning the C7 shaft to avoid this issue, call him and he will swap out your shaft for a C6 shaft. You will still need to remove the rubber top to get the best fit.

Did you talk to the folks at EPCO who produce these? I had a ball manufactured for my MGW and it fit with no problem:

Yes, just send us an email after you place the order stating that you only want the 7sp pattern and we'll take care of the rest

Seriously thinking about doing this in lieu of a full short-throw shifter change out, because quite frankly I am considering getting a Z06 next summer. Out of those who have done this.. would U say that U are experiencing at least 80% of the Short-throw experience U would if U changed to a MGW set-up?
