This is very close to the cut off date parts inventory at plant. A quick check would be look at finish on receivers if very smooth they are the new ones also pins on roof are white now and also a new smooth material from the black ones.Ken Fitcher posted the tsb a few days ago in another thread there is a picture of the new parts there.

Just went out and like and the front two pins are white and the rear pins are black so looks like I have the new ones. Guess they still squeak too.

This is the thread that has a copy of the TSB. "2014-2015 Removable Roof Panel Noise Bulletin". It has the info on the new parts, etc.

Default C7 roof TSB

Here is the TSB. You can save the graphics to your computer and you can then print them.

Any idea how much the parts cost, not taking my car to any dealer until I have to.

Depending on where you order from, the pins retail for about $23 each and the strikers/receivers are over $100 each. A lot of GM parts internet sites discount them.

Reviving this old thread because I just picked up a 2014 and this noise is beyond annoying. It even has the updated pins (grey up front). How is this even a problem for a $74K sports car that the roof rattle so badly? Like the engineers at Chevy made this amazing car with all this technology and aerodynamics, yet they use a cheap metal on metal creating to hold the roof in place. I can't imagine that they didn't come across this with all the C7 testing. And still haven't come up with a sure fire 100% fix. Ridiculous.

I tried the O-rings, nope. I tried using electric tape, nope. Anyone fix anything that works besides removing the driver side front pin?

I just had mine in for the fourth time for a rattle in the door and they adjusted the roof as well. Mechanic said there is a set screw in the rear handle he adjusted to tighten the roof up. It did help quiet the roof down. Of course the squeak in the door is still there...

Default Roof Panel Noise

Mine is so annoying, I'm considering selling it. I've had it serviced twice, latches replaced and it literally sounds like glass cracking every time I turn a corner or hit a bump. I noticed that it is worse in the heat and considering I live in the south, no good. Help!

1st check the space between the rear hook and loop and it should be about 1/8 " !!! Mine needed the to be turned twice because it was 3/8 " gap !!! 2nd try to have someone ( while you are driving stick their fingers near the rear posts and see if that helps so the noise ( mine was mostly on the passenger's side ) 3rd take the roof off and put round flat washers over the rear posts ( I used car fender washers from the hardware store ) about 3 each rear side and drive the car to see if that helps !!! I eventually used half washers and stick them between the other washers with the top in place !!! I hope this helps ( it did help in my case except on really bumpy roads !!!! Wayne

GM recommended PTFE sold under the brand name of Super Lube for a few months, but that did not last long. They changed the Service Bulletin to once again recommend silicone grease including the GM part number. It is a small tube, but lasts a long time.

i used Krytox on the entire weatherstripping both side. No more rattle.

My rattles, I take it off and on a lot. The Super Lube didn't help at all.

I have used the recommendations in TSB 08-08-67-013H which was issued for the C6, but worked very well for my C7.

Note, the version attached is an update in July,2013 with a change in lubrication from GM Super Lube to Dielectric Silicone Grease. The recommendation to use Super Lube was short lived because it did not work very well as you have experienced. I highlighted the note on page #1 where they make the recommendation.
