I just checked this morning and the chat folks said I was shipped. Pressed them again just to make sure, and they said I was 4200. Asked them what transporter it is on, and they said a Jack Cooper truck. I think I'm actually in shipment.

Z51 convertible seven speed. Produced on 8/14 as #686. I read a few posts that said the manuals seemed to be shipping first.

C6 took three days to get here, so I'm hoping I'll have the car before the long weekend.

Awesome! I tried the chat line earlier but they are apparently swapped. I waited 20 minutes and they where unable to get me an agent. Maybe we are on the same truck?

Hopefully so. With the number of cars available to ship, the good news is that folks won't have to wait for a full load of Corvettes to ship to their part of the country. Should be easy to group a trailer full of C7s right now.

I'm happy they ship to Texas by truck instead of rail.

I got thru at 1:30 PM, still at 3800, no big deal yet with the R8C. I did have them email me the build sheet so I can double check that they put on everything that belongs on it, and Maybe even a few Extras!

It would be cool if you both were on the same truck, there is a chance if you also got shipped silky!

Why am I the only SOB out of everyone on our list that still has a TPW of 9/29?? Les Stanford doesn't know, the online cust serv thread doesn't know, etc etc. Is it the body painted standard Coupe roof that's on constraint? CRT car and roof ordered.

I got a painted standard roof and a tpw of 9/15 and my order just got picked up last week. I dont think that is it.

Another WAG is that with so many R8Cs they had to move some back because they were getting way too many to handle in a normal fashion?

The one good thing about not being able to get my order finalized until after Dennis gets back: I had a chance to sit in the competition seats at a semi-local dealer yesterday. Being a bigger guy (6'4" and pushing 250) I kept hearing how they would be uncomfortable for someone my size so I was hesitating include them in my order (given they aren't a cheap option). After sitting in them in a 2LT build (with the adjustable bolsters and lumbar), I've confirmed my initial beliefs that I have to have them. They certainly aren't uncomfortable or too tight (really just right with the bolsters adjusted in a little bit). Car also had the suede wheel / inserts which I loved.

Really can't wait to order now!

I have not and haven't heard anything yet from LS. I believe Dennis is back tomorrow so I assume I'll get a call about actually paying for this soon.

My salesman was able to print my invoice off today. I'm hoping this is a sign that my car will be on the way shortly. Has anyone gotten their supplier price from LS yet?
