Good luck getting the color you wanted in the first place. Too bad they did not give you a loaner C7 in the mean time.
I do remember this as I immediately went to the chevy tracking site to make sure my car came up with the correct color, even though I had known it to be blue prior to the issue you encountered.
The car is such a joy to drive and I find myself going on short errands just to get in and drive....
Time for lunch.... Should I take the Vette?

Thanks to you all for your comments and kind wishes. The car is at the dealership, so it should only be a few more days.

Hey all, I'm new to this conversation. I couldn't find a "how to" thread on this pre-order topic (without reading 50+ pages/thread) so here goes...
Do I have to have a confirmed dealer willing to do a courtesy delivery before I can order with a Big Dealer like Les Stanford? Are the supplier/credit union/etc or equivalent discounts agreed to at the order time? When do I actually pay? I'd like to get my order in ASAP, and having a confirmed price would be nice too.

To the 1st question no you do not have to, Les Stanford can help you with locating one in your area.
You must have your supplier discount/credit union info already done.
Les Stanford needs that paper work as part of your order.
You pay about a week or so before the car is shipped to your dealer.
Hope this helps

#54 finally picked up his Stingray today. While at the local Florida dealership, I met another gentleman named Tony, who was there to pick up his Torch Red Stingray. Tony told me he is a member of the forum, and also ordered from Les Stanford.

It was nice meeting you Larry.

Ordered on Oct 24.
Car built on Dec 5
Picked it up from Dealer today Dec 19.

Dennis Tap at Les Stanford was great to work with. Also got the supplier discount.

Torch Red, Adrenalin Red interior, 8spd auto, NPP, black wheels, yellow calipers, Black badge package. Car is fantastic. Time to do some mods.

After he wrote me a ticket, I lost my cool and told him what he was doing was pure spite. You see a nice car so you have to teach me a lesson.
All you had to do was wait 5 minutes and someone would have been coming by at 90mph plus. He started to lecture me and I asked him: "yes or no, am I being detained. He finally said no, so I put the car in gear and uttered an expletive and took off leaving him standing there.
Hey now... There are cops out there that will write other cops tickets for doing 9 over.

I have argued with people that they said they were doing 5 over and had their cruise control when I know they were coming at 20+ lol.

It's a crappy situation, but it can happen to anyone. Including other cops that are doing 9 over driving a corvette lol.

You should hear some of my stories

Works great and for WA its a god send
It won't work on radar as I'll have your speed before you even respond to the thing going off. (if you're the only car on the road at nighttime like him)
