Default Squeaking from baffles in NPP

I am hearing a slight squeaking/chirping sound from the baffles closing in the NPP when decelerating and going from 8cyl to 4cyl. Can I use WD40 on them or is it potentially flammable? Alternatives?

Interesting....I hear a chirping noise when I first start my 3LT with NPP but then it fades away after about 20 seconds when the idle slows down. I've been wondering where the noise is coming from. I wonder if it's from the NPP baffles? Next time I start the car I'll have someone stand behind it to see if that's where it's coming from.

If you find out what the cause is on yours please let me know. Thanks.

I took mine in at least two times, both times I was told that GM said it was "Normal, operating as intended"

WD40 would just burn off. I try something like a graphite lube.

I'm getting the same sound. Most prominent when coming to a stop and exhaust opens the baffles.
