Inspiration for Corvette taillights

The F18 Hornet and Super Hornet aren't obsolete by any stretch of the imagination. They are the backbone of our carrier air power. However, they will eventually be phased out by the Navy version of the F35 Lightning Joint Strike Fighter, which, BTW, isn't going to be anywhere near as capable as the F22 Raptor.

Didn't we talk once before? LC is still pretty rural. Lots of wildlife, dark sky at night. Above most of the smog. I love it up here. I've been here since 81, when we moved from Marina del Rey. Where in south OC?

I'm in Laguna Niguel. Lived in La Crescenta since I was seven, way back in 1961. My Parents couldn't afford to buy in La Canada - Flintridge at the time, so we ended up there. Besides, there was no High School close enough there so that was that as far as my Parent's were concerned.
Graduated Crescenta Valley High, Go Falcons!, in 1971. When I moved out of my Parent's House I lived in Glendale for a while. Worked my way down to O.C. back in 1983.
My Parents House was on Santa Carlotta off of Ramsdell. They moved down here in the late 80's.
It was a great place to grow up. Lots of good times and great Neighbors. Gee, now I'm getting home sick. Time to take a drive up there and see if I recognize anything. It was like living on an Island especially before the Freeway got built.

Yeah, that's right, we did discuss this a while ago, I forgot. Old Guy...

I had a company, Environmental Resources Group, that I sold to Jacobs Engineering in Pasadena in 81. I had to stay with Jacobs for five years to get my money out of the deal. (I ended up staying for nine, way to long!) I wasn't going to commute from Marina del Rey to Pasadena every day, so we bought a house in La Crescenta. We looked at a place on Santa Carlotta.
I moved my current company, Athanor Environmental Services, from Pasadena to La Crescenta, Foothill just west of Briggs, in September 2011. Our house is 2 1/2 miles from the office. It's great! I also have family that's lived in the Crescenta Valley all my life, although the older folks have all passed.

Old guy? Hey, you're no spring chicken, dude! We should get together for a beer sometime. I'm on Mayfield, just east of Lowell. Close. I'll tell you all about Medicare.

I'll make a point to PM you when I know I can get up that way.
Hope you had a great Father's Day...

The "Somebody" missed the memo...much of the C7 "styling" is centered around the common simpleton's infatuation with everything "skull".... I recently saw infant clothing at Walmart with skull symbols all over it... eyes/teeth.... taillights/pipes.... yup... big fat skull. And enclosed is another insult to everything 'Vette....
