Default Change C7 Base rotors to Z51 rotors

Is there anyone out there that sells Z51 style rotors that will fit on the base C7?

There was an extensive thread over in the Tech/Performance Section that discusses this very issue.

This should be an easy over the counter mod on any non Z51 C7.

You'll be called a poser. I think you should buy some emblems on the side that say "Z51 Rotors". That'll really send some folks into a tizzy.

If you're going to use OEM sized Z51 rotors, you'll need new front calipers too...While the brakes are the same, the castings are different to allow for the +1" diameter. If all you want is the slotted look for your stock sized rotors, I'm sure they're out there or will be soon....

Probably not worth the effort and cost. The performance increase isn't huge, though if you needed the extra six feet?

Not looking for a major change over... Just rotors. I currently have a C6 Z51. Picking up a non Z C7 in a couple days. Like the Z look.

The calipers have their mounting point offset (casting) by a 1/2" to comp for the larger diameter disc. The pistons themselves are the same diameter/size as the base C7 brakes. They may interfere with the smaller diameter wheels on the base units. One of the reasons for the larger diameter wheels on a Z51 is the larger calipers. Has anyone actually done this yet?

I am not looking to put the actual Z51 rotors on this vehicle.
I am looking for slotted or grooved rotors that fit the existing envelope.
