My post was only meant as lighthearted satire. Ironically I have seen the covers you're advertising on another vehicle and they are gorgeous, I wish some manufacturer would make their calipers look this finished.

No problem, I wasn't sure if it was good or bad, that is the problem with a post or email you do not know if the person is joking or being serious.

As an engineer, I always have to LOL @ marketing "strategies".

The stock calipers are definitely not ugly. However, they aren't premium eye candy either.

Some owners who bought off the lot may have settled for whatever color calipers their car came with. It would be nice to have a variety of GM type colors to customize it for your personal preference.

I would buy the red caliper covers, but I just installed TSW Nurburgring machine faced wheels on my white C7 vert (black interior, no red anywhere on the car) and I think the red calipers would actually take away from the looks of these wheels as they are a bit "busier" then the stock wheels. I wonder if anyone has thoughts about this?

You don't have to settle on red. If you go to the source you can have them made in any color you can imagine. I would suggest for you matte silver to match the TSW wheel face or maybe even a gloss white to match your AW Vert. They can even be matched to the TSW inside color that is a dark gray gloss?/matte?. I've had these caliper covers custom ordered in the past for a BMW Z4 and they looked great with an easy install.

So Laguna Blue would be an option? Would it cost extra?

I would also be interested in Laguna Blue. Is this available? Extra charge?

I think their is more than 1/8" clearance between the caliper and wheel on the Z51. Has any forum member mounted a set of these yet on their Z51 C7?
