Spending way too much time getting gloss? this took 15 min - a no hose parking lot washing with Duragloss Rinseless and "Spray as you dry" Duragloss Aqua wax....

I feel you Glen. Used to do all-day-details on my black C5's.

Now I have had a Silver C5, C6 and C7. Like I tell people, I'm getting too old to keep a black car looking good. With your tips, it's a lot easier keeping silver, and any other color Vette, looking good without hurting all over the next day.

First off, your car looks fantastic!

I must be waaay too ****, because rinseless washes plus spray-on wax is more like 45 mins. I use the Griots wash.

After looking at Glen's Rinseless Wash I'm going to use that method for all my car washing sessions. But to be honest I use a few steps learned from Sal ZAINO.

I will never ever use a towel/sponge etc on the paint that has ever touched a wheel. MF towels are cheap. And when I wash my car care towels etc I never ever use a powder detergent. Liquid only.

But in any event I'm waiting on my C7 and a few packages from Amazon with all the products outlined in Glen's documents.

Cheers

Remember, my way is spaying and drying at the same time, not separate operations...google duragloss Aquawax, that how you get it down to 15-30 min.....

And Tom, sal is correct and also my way, mf's for wheels are separate, less quality, like 300 gsm. I use liquid tide, or the tide pops, but a liquid detergent my detailer friends use is called "Charlie's liquid soap" on hot, cold rinse. They are fluffier.

I also want to thank you Glen E. I also was one who downloaded all of your info and ordered the needed items. The results are amazing and I am looking forward to the easy mini-detailings that will come in the future. You are a knowledgeable guy and a great contributor for all of us on the forum. Thanks for making the effort.

Thanks for the info Glen! But what's the difference between this product and the BLACKFIRE WD Polymer Spray that is used in the "Glen e detail"?

I don't ever use the Blackfire poly spray in my detail....I think Todd does, in his video at Autopia, but I think the Blackfire poly spray stuff is crap...much too expensive and it does not work while you dry the car........Duragloss Auawax is a true polymer, not a detailer and meant to go on your car while it's till wet from the wash, so you skip a step. Spray on while wet, dry the car and you "wax" at the same time...nothing could be easier!...and it works in spades....This stuff carries a god like recommendation on the detailer sites...and it's cheap!

note: Xpel not a problem here, wash and spray dry like it's not even there...

I don't like the reviews it gets on the detailing sites, but please try it and write up a review with pics for everyone on how you like it. Note the stuff is a sponsor here so I doubt we will be able to discuss it. You can search the threads for it here:

The Meguiars Ultimate Spray Wax is a great way to quickly shine up a clean car. Not the detailer, the wax spray.

These new products go on quickly, easily and do a bang up job.

just a note, that this is not about which spray wax is best, man, there are a ton of them, this is about which sealants can go on when the car is wet and uses the water left on the car to spread, saving you a "waxing step". I only know and used a few - Duragloss Aquawax and Prima Hydro, being two of the best. An interesting brand new one the I have not tried but is getting mixed/intense reviews is made by CarPro - makers of Cquartz - called Hydro2....it takes intense water pressure to apply...Google it....

I wasn't comparing.

I was just saying which one I use, and then referenced all new products of similar types and how nice and easy they are to use and how well they work.

I'm not brand loyal, just giving my experience in using this type of product and confirming that they do indeed work very well and are quick and easy.
