Annoying little rattles from dash area
For the last few months, on less than smooth roads, I've noticed little annoying vibration noises coming from the dash area. I found the source to be the tabs on the A/C vents. If I pinch the tab the noise stops. Anyone else experience this problem?
Tape stops the noise somewhat, but I'm thinking there has to be a better way. Maybe a small thin shim.

I have a center vent rattle on vin 4828. Repositioning stops it. When it really starts bothering me I'll be sticking some felt in a few select locations.

Also have the rattle from the center vent. Didn't start until we were half way across the country, and did think that it was either a dash attachment or something under the dash. Then found that adjusting the vent alleviated the rattle, so mystery solved. Glad to know ours isn't the only one.
I haven't had time to investigate and try to find a solution, so hopefully someone here will come up with a fix in the mean time.

My center vent starts rattling after the AC has been on for a bit, seems like once the plastic gets cold it starts to rattle. When I have time i'm going to see if I can stick some felt tape someplace to make it stop.
I also have a "buzz" from somewhere in the right rear when going over bumps and the like.

I had a really bad rattle at low speeds coming from the dash near the windshield. Was going to take it in but before I could wife hit a massive pothole which rupture the front tire, but rattle was fixed! I will let my wife drive YOUR Vette for a nominal fee!
