Default National Corvette Museum Window Stickers

How disappointing!! I ordered my window sticker from the NCM, and they charged my credit card…. when I hadn't received it after a few months I inquired and they told me that this service has ended. I bought my car in Japan and never got a window sticker. They said I could get the build sheets and offered a refund…. but I am just bummed.

Wow! First I have heard of this. Verified on the NCM website:

Effective immediately, due to circumstances beyond our control, window stickers will not be available. We will be offering only build sheets, paper, slate, wood etched and slate

Appreciate the reply. I didn't see that on the web site. Thanks.

I do realise it's beyond their control, but really bummed me out!!!! Bad timing! I have the window stickers for all my previous Vettes and will never have it for this one. Just disappointing.

I found this info on GM Customer Care:

Q: How do I get a replacement window sticker?

A: If your vehicle is the current model year or from the previous model year, you may obtain a replacement window sticker or invoice from your original selling dealership (Dealer Locator). If your vehicle is NOT a current model year or the previous model year, a duplicate window sticker is NOT available. However, Triple A Enterprises can provide window stickers (for a fee) going back to 1959 for most passenger cars only, with the exception of 1981 to current model Corvettes and all Cadillac models other than the Allante (window stickers are available for the Allante).

Really appreciate the info, but I guess it's not in the cards since my dealer is in Japan (they wouldn't even know what it is), and we don't have window stickers. The reference to triple A would exclude 2014 Corvettes……

Thanks!

I mistakenly threw away my window sticker on our 2013 Volt and my dealer ordered and got me a "replacement" in a couple of weeks.

It does say REPLACEMENT at the bottom of it.

Too bad the NCM can't do the window stickers anymore. It was a good service to people that may have bought a used car and did not get the sticker with it.

This may only be temporary. The following was posted on their Facebook page:

Due to technical problems, the window sticker option has been suspended until these can be rectified.

When I purchased my C6, the dealer messed the original up and ordered/ received a replacement. Maybe?

Default My wood sticker

When I ordered my wood engraved window sticker a few months ago the order was delayed because they said the guy who does them had a stroke and they had to find someone else to do it. I finally received it about 2 months late along with the laminated version. Not sure if they changed companies or not. Maybe that could be an issue?

We will be sure to let you know of any updates on the continuation of window sticker sales. Thanks for your support and patience!

At least if you have a older car from 63-2004, this worked for me...http://corvetteparts.com/page/sticker
Pretty cool to have at car shows. And it's free!

I'm probably going to get some grief but, I think any stickers look tacky on a car. Especially on a beautiful vet.

Umm... we're talking about the Monroney Sticker (Window Sticker). Required by Federal law to be on every new car sold in the U.S.
