Default C7 "Deal of the Week" $5,600 under MSRP!

New Silver Coupe, 2LT, Manual, Performance Exhaust, etc

Looks too good to be true! I called them and they said it was GM Supplier Pricing. ... so I don't know if one could purchase the car at that price or not. I happen to have a trade-in ($12K equity according to Blue Book trade in value) .. and yet, on this deal, they only offered me 7K .... hmmmm, go figure.

so, ... as Howie Mandel would say .,.,.. "Deal of the week?" , ... or no deal at all?

Not sure what your point is?

Just buy it. It's certainly priced right.

If you don't like the trade-in price allowance on your old ride, sell it yourself.

Simple solution to this problem. Do the deal for the $5,600 off msrp providing you actually like the car. Sell your 12k car on your own. I've done it a dozen times over the years. The difference in sales tax is not that big of a deal on a 12k car.

It's a 2LT, not an LT2.

Given this engine, it can be confusing to many.

I'd get a 2015 at supplier at this point, 2015's are only two months away.

You got a trade-in price over the phone? No wonder they lowballed you. If you're really interested in it go look at it, in person, with your trade vehicle. You won't get a good trade deal entirely over the phone.

It is rather silly to buy the '14 this late in the game. Supplier discount!

Why? Mine came in last week. I saw no reason to wait on a 2015. The only thing remotely worth waiting for is the A8. I wanted a manual, so not even that mattered to me.

OK, that's great!

The stats are out on the 2015s, to comparison shop for one thing. It's all about choice.

Didn't you order yours months ago? I'd probably keep it since you like it.

I ordered mine 5/27, after all the 2015 info was already released. There will be no difference between the car the op refers to and the same exact car as a 2015 model. Why wait when he could have one now at a great price.

Doesn't matter in Michigan as 6% sales tax is paid on the entire purchase price no matter if he trades or not. It stinks and is enough to make me not upgrade as often. I would probably go to an A8 and more options next year, but the additional $4,000 in sales tax on top of my car's depreciation makes it a no deal for me.

I can't just go to the Dealer, because I'm also 400 miles away,... so I called then about the price, asked if this was correct, and they said, "yes, but this is GM Supoplier Discount pricing", .... which, it seemed to me, to almost be ahem, unethical, ... as nowhere in the ad, did they say .. "pricing reflects GM Supplier pricing."

It's Moot now, as no matter what the pricing is, I've still got some more saving to do, before I can pull the trigger on a beautiful C7. I'm more than used to $400+ / month on G8GT's, Mustangs, 2SS Camaros, etc ... but jumping up to mid $600's / mo ... is another story. (for me anyway).

Even though I seriously doubt that they would sell that C7 2LT for $56000, the ad could be legit,... so if you're ready to bite, call em up! Shute, at that price, the car should be sold within 24 hours.
