Default Vettless and Waiting

Sold my beautiful C6 today. I had her for nine years but had to let her go. I feel sad. But… I’m #5 on Les Stanford’s pre order list for a 2015 Z51 and am currently sitting at 3000 with a TPW of 8/11. Won’t be long now. I’m looking forward to picking her up at the NCM.

Congrasts..

I know your pain and then some. I sold my Camaro last Sept. and my 2008 C6 Corvette Pace Car in Feb. to order the 2015. I also have a TPW of 8/11 so to us.

I know the feeling. Sold both our Corvettes in anticipation of the 2015. Last Vette sold two months ago... and it was the Vert.

and of course; we've has some of the best spring & summer weather in years...

But, we have a TPW of 8-11

Do you mean 8-11? 8-14 is a Thursday.

You won't even remember the C6 when you get behind the C7's wheel.

Tough parting with an old friend but soon your attention will be on that new Z51. Enjoy!

Default The Pain

Know the feeling. Sold my 2013 GS in May an ordered a 2014 Z51. Order never got accepted by Chevrolet. We now have a 2015 ordered and it sits at 1100 still.

Hey, guys, I drove my beloved C6 some 95,000 miles and loved every minute of it. Truly great car and the new owner, a friend, loves it. But, but...

The C7 is better in every way. You will LOVE this car.

Enjoy the ride through the order process before you enjoy the ride with your new C7. Again, you will LOVE this car!

I feel your pain trade my beloved 2012 z06 in early like April and ordered my z51 2015.
I have anxiety on two levels one will I be happy with the less performance, and my worry about further deprecation on the Z06 justified, being a c6 not c7. I do have tpw of 8/11 so not to much longer here.

My order with all the allocation problems took 6 1/2 months. I pre-traded my C6 but kept the C4 until the C7 arrived. Sold the C4, was on the market about a month - actually when I listed it on Auto Locator, one business day. Got to advertise with the right medium. Hope your order processes soon.

Sold my 1963 to order and pay for the 2014. Sold it last week in March, and had to wait until 3 June to pick up the new Corvette. Every day seemed like a month, and the process of going through all the stages 3000, 32000 etc. seemed like it took forever.

I feel you pain....but once you get the car, its worth the wait, especially the NCM experience......hang in there, your day will come.

I felt the same way about my '04. I still feel nostalgic about it. I'd put a lot of time into it. But..........15 minutes into the drive home in the C7, I made the right choice.
You'll feel the same way too. These cars are awesome.

Congratulations! The wait is worth it. You will quickly get over selling the C6 once you get behind the wheel of the C7.

Feel the pain of many others on here with a twist... Giving up my 12 Challenger R/T for the C7 I just ordered. I just don't have the garage space (wife's words not mine). It was either the R/T or the 61 Caddy, I think I chose the right one.
