What Really Changes in the 5 Driving Modes
We bought a new C7 convertible for my wife. It has the Z51 package, NPP and selective ride. (I know that is a lot of car for a lady but she is also an autocrosser and road racer)
Is there some place I can find documentation on what changes and by how much when you switch driving modes ? I have tried searching on the internet and this Forum and came up blank. I find general descriptions of what changes but nothing definitive.
What I mean is if I change from Touring mode to Sport mode I know the ride and handling settings are different. What setting are the shocks on in Touring vs. Sport ? On a scale of 1-5 is it set on medium (3) in Touring and a full stiff (5) in Sport ? What about traction control, steering and the E-diff ?
What else actually changes ? It would be nice to have a chart that defined all the parameters and degree of each in each mode.

Yes, not very detailed descriptions.
That's better than anything I found on the internet, though.
Thanks

I am no means in your league, but have attended a few Hooked on Driving
driving clinics using both my 08 Z06 and their prepped cars.
Hope this helps a little bit. VIN 2839 Oct 11, 2013 from Stingray Chevrolet in Plant City, Fl.

I just love the douchebags that respond smart *** answers to people that have questions about their cars. The owners manual is vague on a lot of subjects. I say if you don't have any useful information then don't respond on a forum that is suppose to help out the fellow corvette owner.

Chevrolet Customer Service take note:
As noted here, the owners manual is lacking in information on understanding the applications of the various driving modes. There are some definitions, but what we really need are some "for example" details to help us get a clearer understanding of the proper setting for the desired results. THANKS.

After going into track mode, push the button in the center of the dial
twice quickly, then the 5 sub setting should appear if you car is
so equipped. Wet, Dry, sport1, sport 2 and race. I used sport 1 as it
leaves active handling on, traction control off, for my first time out
with the new car, I noticed a slight throttle lag in this setting. Race mode is all nannies off, full engine power available and noticed no
throttle lag here, but you need to be a little careful

Don't get the whole d bag comment.
Mod posted something from the owners manual.
Seems like a logical piece of info to me.
I certainly never read the manual, so helpful info.
