I like that orange. Hopefully it will turn out to be a popular color and GM will offer it when I get ready to buy.

Subset Orange? I think you meant to say Sunset Orange, though still incorrect. It's Sunrise!

There's no confirmation that the color in the photograph is in fact the new orange. Regardless, the name of the new color is Daytona Sunrise Orange Metallic.

Yes, I know. The problem is that we have no idea as to the credibility of Rick's source. I for one am not buying that the car in the photograph is actually painted in the new color.

Yep, and Rick needs to think twice about ripping an image off he doesn't own and slapping his information on it.

Is anyone paying attention?

That is not the new orange but another fake. The original post has been edited to reflect that. Rick was given the wrong information, he admits that.

No one yet has a pic of the new orange yet probably because there is yet to be a car painted with the final version. GM must have some big issues with this color for some reason. Shark Gray has been out and about in public for some time,no good reason to hide the orange unless they have a problem with it.

The guy who created this photo is really angry that it was used as it was. He should have copyrighted it. At least someone may have thought twice about pulling this stupid stunt on Rick Conti. For those who haven't gone to his blog site, here's what Rick posted there:

“First my apologies gang..as we said at the beginning of the post, We assumed this was the color, I know not good enough…my fault for posting as I fell victim to someone that thought this was funny.

There has been a lot of disrespect and lying behind the scenes and that I do not get, this is the most exciting time for Corvette, shoot since Corvette began in my opinion!

After the week I had with my 11 year in the hospital with a seizure, I was will simply trying to get back in the groove and find some goodness. When I got this email from a person “I thought I trusted,” whom is now on the AHOLE LIST; I know better to have waited to get official word from GM.

Thank-you for understanding and lets get back to delivering more Stingray Dreams. Thank-you for the business opportunities, - Rick Conti”

Burnt Orange. Won't be allowed in College Station and no Aggies will buy one...

Should have read the whole post... There is still hope for an orange that doesn't scream Texas University.

Wouldn't it be nice....that should be a song title or something.

That photo is NOT real. There are no photos of the new Sunrise Orange in existence because there are no cars in existence. Why are there no cars you ask? Because no full cars have been painted yet.

The color is still being worked out as far as color, fit and finish. It will be a later than expected arrival.

Nice, but no cigar.

GM will publish an official photo when they have something to show.
