They need to find another vendor on carbon fiber roofs. Ridiculous! Mine is on que waiting for this also. It will probably push my receiving date to October.

Thanks for posting. I have a Laguna Blue on order with C2Z carbon roof. Sorry for my ignorance but can you clear up what does the constraints have with TPW? I am at 1100 and Tony at Les Stanford says he expects my order to go to 2000 on August 11. Based on what you know, when do you think my TPW will be?

Based on this list, you have a 1 in 5 chance. As long as you are high up on Les Stanford's list, you're good. Going to 2000 does not mean you will be issued a TPW. Just means GM accepted the order, doesn't mean it will be set up for production, until your dealer applies an allocation to your order or until the constraint is changed or lifted.

The constraints are generally released on Thursdays and they apply to orders being placed against allocations in that order cycle (Thursday-Monday). Orders entered against an allocation this week have a TPW of 8/25. If you go to 2000 on 8/11, your TPW will probably be 9/1. Once your order hits 2000, it usually progresses fairly rapidly to 3000. Your order will NOT go to 2000 if you have an item on constraint and the dealer does not have an allocation for the item. Said the other way, your order will only go to 2000 if your dealer has an allocation that includes the constrained item and he assigns your order to that allocation.

Well that helps, thank you. By the way I really love Laguna Blue. Like some Corvette brothers have stated, you really cant pick a bad color. I have changed my mind so many times and finally saw a LB convertible in person. Wow, pictures really don't capture the car the way it looks in person. Enjoy the road.

So my son looks at my build list for the 2015 and mutters : Ordered another darn V8 powered golf cart ? Yup I responded ...... No constraints ....... White/AR drop top, A8. Nothing fancy, just a Sunday putt around and vacation car.

Not going to give in on my preferences just to get it sooner. That is one reason I ordered the car. To get what I want.
