Default Z06 in Minnesota (pics)!!!

20th Annual Corvette Show at Mystic Lake Casino. Took the wifey down to see the new Z. Absolutely amazing. The new C7Z in person is stunning. I even liked this color combination, a lot... Wife said: you need to get one of these. Looks like the Stingray is going to be a short timer. My guess: this car is going to be the biggest hit in the past decade. When the press gets this car, and the magazines do their testing, and the public sees this on the road, the new Z will hail mighty:

Very beautiful indeed. I wonder if you can get the big rear spoiler if you go with the stage 2 and not the ZO7 model. I read somewhere that the ZO7 is basically a "race car or track car" if you will. It appears that the car comes with "slicks" as they use to call them in the old days. My guess is that most guys are probably going to want the stage 2 version. IMO. Not to mention that the ZO7 will be way up there in price.

I think Stage 2 has the small winglets on the front splitter, same side skirts as the Z07, and the large rear spoiler with fixed wickerbill. And I agree, that is going to be the go to Package, at least for the two of us!

The Z06 with the silver wheels has a completely different look than the black wheels look. I think the silver wheels " make" the car. A striking beautiful car. Can't wait to see one in Torch Red/ Adrenaline Red interior, with silver wheels.

I think that's the same car that was at Sebring in March, you have to see it in person. The Shark Gray is nice, but doesn't seem to "pop" in the sun like my Cyber Gray does, but great color. The wheels have an interesting finish, not the standard silver but an almost semi-chrome finish. The only thing I didn't like was the black accents, spoilers, splitters etc, I'd like the option of those in body color. The ZO7 package has the Pilot Sport Cup tires, NOT good for street use very short tread life buy unreal grip on the track, and the ZR1 carbon-ceramic brakes are fantastic. The rear wing is adjustable with ZO7, both center section and endplates and the front splitter is deeper. Still a pretty awesome ride, but make mine the Level 2 package, I plan on some track use but mostly street.

Looks very good to me. Like the wheel color and the clear tail lights. Gives the rear end a different "look."

Hopefully, in a few years, there will be a Grand Sport-type edition of the C7. If/when it is offered, my checkbook will be out!

I like the tail lights, probably will also be available on the Sting Ray, 2016 model year update item? I don't like the front wheel well plastic trim, looks like; darn the front fenders aren't large enough, solved with a cheap plastic add on. Current version is not in my future.

I agree, I just traded my GS in for a Z51 a couple of weeks ago, but will definitely order a GS wide body version if, and when, it is available.
I really do not need a 625 HP Z06, but a 500 HP wide body GS would be perfect for my needs.

I agree, let one year go bye to iron out the wrinkles. Going to order a 2016 for Spring delivery...

However, if you saw this car in person today all your bitching would stop and the only question would be: how can I take her home today

It's actually gonna be 650 hp and 650 lb/ft of torque. The official numbers were released a few months back.

That car is beautiful, an absolute masterpiece IMO. It makes me glad that I ordered the Carbon Flash stinger stripe and carbon flash badging on my "lowly", soon-to-be-built 2015 Z51 coupe.
